Hey! I’m Alex.
I’m a progressive, millennial therapist helping clients break toxic communication cycles, rebuild trust, and restore connection - without the fluff.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in the fitness industry, where I watched people chase wellness, often feeling defeated by how complex and disconnected the process felt. To me, real wellbeing doesn’t live in just one area of our lives, it's an integration of our identity, our story, our relationships and our lived experience.
I’m a LPC-Associate who shows up with curiosity, humor, and a no bullshit approach. I work best clients who feel stuck in patterns that aren’t working anymore - especially those from marginalized communities or people used to feeling like the underdog. If you’ve ever felt misunderstood or like you had to shrink parts of yourself to fit the socially accepted stereotype, I’ve been there.
My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection - to self, to others, and to our own unique story. I bring my lived experience, clinical training, and a deep respect for authenticity into every session. My job isn’t to sugarcoat - it’s to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered enough for change to stick.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me in a backwards cap and sneakers, planning my next vacation or concert, or rescuing a plant from the garden center.

Clinical Modalities
-
Cognitive behavioral therapy can help us deal with overwhelming challenges in a practical and positive way by breaking down our experience into thoughts, feelings, presenting symptoms, and actions. The understanding is that unhelpful thoughts and feelings can create a vicious cycle that strongly influences our emotional experience. Part of our CBT work is combined with Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT). This therapy helps people, or partnerships, who experience intense emotions learn to manage them, cope with challenges, and improve their relationships. These modalities are evidence-based and provide a strong foundation for clinical support.
-
Acceptance and commitment therapy is a unique and creative model for both individual and relational therapy, based on the innovative use of mindfulness and values. ACT therapy helps us accept our thoughts and feelings without judgment, and focus on the present moment. This therapy works to increase our potential for a rich, full, and meaningful life through value-based living.

Holistic, or Integrative therapy is an individualized approach to treatment that combines ideas and techniques from different therapeutic schools of thought, and is guided by the unique needs of each client(s). This therapy stems from a humanistic perspective, which focuses on how our unique view of the world impacts our thoughts and actions. Holistic therapy is the core of our care, as we believe people cannot be viewed as a sum of any singular part, but require a systematic look towards all pieces that make us whole. This allows us to consider mental, physical, and emotional health in a unified way in order to help the client(s) achieve well-rounded healing.
We are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all clients, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or any other personal characteristic or lifestyle choice. We strive to create a space where clients feel heard, valued, and supported. We are dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals and improve their mental health and well-being in a holistic way that aligns with their individuality.
